The Ramblers verbinden in AT THE RAMBLERS' BALL hun rijke Nederlandse swinggeschiedenis met de energie van nu. Onder leiding van Loet van der Lee klinkt het orkest fris, stijlvol en levendig, met geliefde Ramblers-klassiekers, nieuwe arrangementen en de warme stem, speelse timing en internationale kleur van Léah Kline.
The Ramblers connect their rich Dutch swing history with the energy of today in AT THE RAMBLERS' BALL. Led by Loet van der Lee, the orchestra sounds fresh, stylish and lively, with beloved Ramblers classics, new arrangements and Léah Kline’s warm voice, playful timing and international flair.
Beschikbaarheid: muziekfestivals, clubs, jazzfestivals, concertzalen en dansfeesten. Voor Nederlandse theaters geldt een beperkte beschikbaarheid in 2027: in april en mei toeren The Ramblers met Loes Luca en in oktober en november met Edwin Rutten. AT THE RAMBLERS' BALL is daarom voor theaters weer beschikbaar vanaf maart 2028.
Availability: music festivals, clubs, jazz festivals, concert halls and dance events. For Dutch theatres, availability is limited in 2027: in April and May The Ramblers tour with Loes Luca, and in October and November with Edwin Rutten. AT THE RAMBLERS' BALL is therefore available for theatres again from March 2028.

Met Pancha Bala opent het Loet van der Lee Quintet een nieuw hoofdstuk in zijn rijke geschiedenis. Energieke, swingende jazz, geworteld in de hardboptraditie maar met de blik vooruit: zeven nieuwe composities, vijf solistische stemmen en een vernieuwde bezetting die traditie en avontuur moeiteloos met elkaar verbindt.
With Pancha Bala, the Loet van der Lee Quintet opens a new chapter in its rich history. Energetic, swinging jazz, rooted in the hard bop tradition yet looking ahead: seven new compositions, five distinctive solo voices and a renewed line-up that effortlessly connects tradition and adventure.
Loet van der Lee op trompet en flugelhorn, Daan Kluwer op tenorsaxofoon, Sebastiaan van Bavel op piano, Johan Plomp op contrabas en Tim Hennekes op drums vormen samen een krachtig akoestisch quintet waarin melodie, interactie en improvisatie centraal staan. Met deze vernieuwde line-up belooft ieder optreden een avond te worden vol dynamiek, virtuoze solo’s en meeslepende improvisaties.
